Résumé de la thèse My thesis looks at how international law is based upon a binary understanding of gender and thus, assuming that women and men are complementary, opposite and mutually exclusive (legal) identities. I examine diverse fields of international law, including gender registration laws, sports law, the women's rights discourse and refugee law.
